Arsenal stun Chelsea by poaching important member of Blues' backroom staff as Mikel Arteta plots another Premier League title charge

Ribeiro has been at Chelsea since the summer of 2009 when he joined the London side having previously worked with Fulham and West Ham. The sports masseur will now make a move to Arsenal, as per the Daily Telegraph's Matt Law.

As per the report, Ribeiro was a very well-respected person in Cobham having worked with the likes of Jose Mourinho, Rafael Benitez and Antonio Conte among others. However, he will not have the opportunity to work with new Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca.

Chelsea also lost the services of academy directors Neil Bath and Jim Fraser earlier this week, with a string of changes behind the scenes at Cobham.

Ribeiro will now join up with Mikel Arteta's side later this month when they begin their pre-season camp in preparation for their third-straight Premier League title chase.
