Kenya revived their hopes of making it to the finals of 2019 Afcon after a hard fought 1-0 win over Ghana on Saturday.
The Harambee Stars had suffered a 2-1 defeat away to Sierra Leone in their opening game, with Ghana defeating Ethiopia 5-0. Against the Black Stars, the Kenyans under Sebastien Migne, needed an own goal to claim all the points.
Despite a red card to Joash Onyango, the East African nation held on for 90 minutes to stun a star-studded Ghana side and claim a vital win that revived their hopes of making it to the 2019 Afcon finals to be held in Cameroon.
