Skydive? Swim with sharks? How adventurous is Julio Baptista?

You wouldn’t think Julio Baptista, nicknamed ‘The Beast’ throughout his career, would be scared of anything.

But the former Brazil international has revealed he’d rather not take to the water to swim with sharks – though he is open to taking the plunge by skydiving off of the world’s biggest building.

Baptista was capped 47 times and won the Copa America twice with Brazil as well as the La Liga title with Real Madrid.

In a light-hearted chat with official La Liga sponsor, Clear Men, he also pondered on potentially building a home from scratch.

"It’s like building your life,” said Baptista. “If you build your life from the foundations and plant good things you’ll experience good things.”
