Liverpool team news: Wijnaldum starts against Roma

Georginio Wijnaldum Liverpool Premier League Team of the Week
The Dutchman is in midfield as Mane, Henderson and Alexander-Arnold all overcome knocks to feature for Klopp's men

Georginio Wijnaldum is back in the starting XI for the second leg of Liverpool's Champions League semi-final tie with Roma.

The midfielder was left out of the first 11 as the Reds demolished the Italian side 5-2 last week, but partners James Milner and Jordan Henderson in midfield in Rome.

The Dutchman's inclusion, in place of the injured Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, is the only change from the first-leg at Anfield.

Sadio Mane has shaken off a thigh issue to start on the left of Liverpool's front three alongside Roberto Firmino and the free-scoring Mohamed Salah, who is back on familiar soil having spent two seasons at the Stadio Olimpico before his move to Merseyside.

Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold have also overcome knocks to start.

Roma, meanwhile, have abandoned the three-man defence which caused them so many issues last week, with Juan Jesus missing out.

The Italians make three changes from the first leg, with Lorenzo Pellegrini, Stephan El Sharaawy and Patrik Schick all starting.

Kevin Strootman and Cengiz Under are on the bench for Eusebio Di Francesco's side, who know they must go on the attack from the word go if they are to have any chance of a final date in Kiev against Real Madrid later this month.

Roma XI: Alisson; Florenzi, Manolas, Fazio, Kolarov; Pellegrini, De Rossi, Nainggolan; Schick, Dzeko, El Shaarawy.
