He will be fully backed by ownership group FSG.The German has had strong indication that he will be given the necessary funds to revamp his squad, with 19-year-old Jude Bellingham his primary transfer target. Matheus Nunes of Wolves, who recently impressed against Liverpool, is said to also be on the radar as the Reds looks to rejuvenate their squad in the summer.

Schreuder a 'serious contender' for Leeds job

Less than a week after losing his job at Leeds, Jesse Marsch may be back in a Premier League job. Southampton sacked Nathan Jones yesterday and according to <a href="https://theathletic.com/4187435/2023/02/12/jesse-marsch-southampton-vacancy/" target="_blank">The Athletic</a> the American is under consideration for the vacant hot seat at St Mary's. Marsch's career follows a similar patter to that of former Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl, something which is said to attract the hierarchy at Southampton.
