This is my toughest game, confesses Muslim Senior’s Afeez

Following Muslim Senior College’s progress to the semi-final of the GTBank Principals Cup, Olusesan Afeez has picked the encounter against Estate Senior Grammar School as his toughest.

The midfielder and captain converted the decisive spot-kick to give his side a 4-3 win after they had to fight their way back to secure a 2-2 draw at full time.

“The game was very hard but we tried. Estate Senior Grammar School are a good side, they gave us a tough outing today,” Olusesan told Goal.

“This has to be the toughest match I’ve played in this competition.We scored, they scored and they scored again before we scored to take the game to penalties.”

The youngster also hailed the impact of the competition: “The competition has really helped my career and I’m happy to be a participant because of the exposure and opportunity that comes with it.

“It is a good feat and I really love this competition. I will like to play in it again.

“The competition is one that also helps fasten the career of a youngster like me.”

On his target for the Oworonshoki side in the the competition, Olusesan says: “This is our first time in the semifinal and I’m so glad. I want to see the final and play in it.”
