But the defensive midfielder was still available to coach Gbenga Ogunbote for Wednesday's activities.

“I am thanking God for not making the injury to be more than what it is. I was bathing, although I was not wearing slippers, then I slipped and injured my jaw area,” Ichull told Goal

"Everything is under control and I can tell you that it won’t affect my participation in our weekend game because I have been training with it.

“The impact of the fall was enormous but I thank God that I am still alive to tell the story. I will be more careful next time and I want to thank my teammates and other players in the league who have shown concern. Enyimba management and coaches have been of immense support too.”

Following his mid-season transfer from Nasarawa United, Lordson Ichull has featured twice for Enyimba and will be looking forward to playing his third game when they welcome league leaders, Plateau United on Sunday.
