Match officials in the forthcoming Cecafa Senior Challenge have been urged to exercise the highest level of professionalism to keep the integrity of the regional games.
Cecafa Secretary General, Nichola Musonye told the16-match officials to be cautious as they discharge their duties when the games kick off on Sunday in Kakamega and Machakos Counties.
All the 16- referees passed the fitness test conducted by CAF Instructor Benard Mfubusa (Burundi) and retired FIFA Referee Maxim Itur from Kenya on Friday at Kasarani.
Kenya contributed two centre referee; Peter Waweru and Anthony Ogwayo while Joshua Achila and Tonny Kidiya will be the local assistant referees nominated by the host nation.
Uganda has Alex Muhabi as the centre referee with Ronald Katenya and Dick Okello acting as the assistants.
Others are Kanunze Herve (Burundi), Tigle Belachew (Ethiopia), Ndagijimana Theogene (Rwanda), Lila Soud (Tanzania), Mfaume Nasour (Zanzibar), Abdu Karim (Rwanda), Sassy Elly (Tanzania) Laketch Malong from South Sudan and George Gatogato of Rwanda.
Cecafa games will run from December 3-17.
