Fanendo Adi has equalled Portland Timbers goalscoring record, to become the joint leading goalscorer in the club's history.
Adi equalled the 45 goals milestone of John Bain despite the Timbers 3-2 defeat to Columbus Crew at the MAPFRE Stadium on Sunday.
The Nigerian got the leveller for Caleb Porter's men just before the interval, to make it 2-2 and his fourth goal in four games in the MLS this season.
The former Trenčín and FC Copenhagen forward accomplished this feat in 94 appearances for the Providence Park outift, 54 games short of John Bain's career games of 148 games.
Adi was the highest goalscorer for the Timbers last season with 18 goals across all tournaments and could make his 95th club appearance when New England Revolution visit the Providence Park on April 2.
