They are providing distractions for Kane, with a new promo video seeing the Three Lions skipper hanging a Golden Boot on his Christmas tree, playing charades with England team-mate James Maddison – who now fills his old No.10 shirt at Spurs – and trying his hand at baking.

Ultimately, all that Kane wants for Christmas is a feast of football – and the Premier League is still on hand to offer that. Amazon Prime have the prolific frontman covered as they will be showing over 10 hours of football on Boxing Day – and 10 games in total through to December 28.

Kane will be watching on from afar as Manchester United take on Aston Villa, Brighton face his former employers at Spurs and Arsenal tackle West Ham in a London derby. There should be plenty to keep him amused until Bayern return to the field in 2024 – with Kane having already plundered 25 goals for them through 22 appearances.
