Luis Suarez shared an emotional farewell message to Gremio fans as he prepares to complete his move to Inter Miami ahead of the new MLS season.

  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    Now that the Brazilian campaign is over, Suarez is free to leave Gremio having agreed to end his contract with the club earlier than initially agreed so that he can team up with Lionel Messi at Inter Miami. The Uruguayan shared a video on social media of his highlights with the club, from his incredible welcome to his lap of honour after his final game.

    Suarez finished the season with 26 goals and 17 assists from 53 matches in all competitions, earning him the best player and best striker for the 2023 Brasileirao season awards. Gremio ended up finishing second in the Serie A table, two points behind Palmeiras who won the title on the final day of the season.
