The Brazil international has headed to the United States ahead of Copa America duty with his country. He is in a trophy-winning mood after helping Real Madrid to another La Liga title in 2023-24 and more Champions League glory – as he netted in the final of that competition against Borussia Dortmund.

Vinicius is now turning his attention to international matters, alongside Blancos team-mate and fellow countryman Eder Militao. They have made their way to Florida, where eight-time Ballon d’Or winner Messi now plies his club trade for MLS side Inter Miami.

Vinicius is looking to steal some of the limelight in the Sunshine State, with an invitation accepted to visit the Miami Dolphins as they work their way through training camp ahead of the 2024 NFL season. During that visit, the South American met up and traded jerseys with superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

Messi is also in Florida at present, as Argentina use the facilities at Inter Miami, and he continues to work with Manchester United and England legend David Beckham – who is a co-owner of the MLS franchise. Both he and Vinicius are counting down the days to the start of Copa America on June 20.
