  • DID YOU KNOW?

Videos circulated at the time of Speed clashing with fellow fans in the crowd as he tried to “hype” those around him, with not everybody buying into his elaborate shows of support. The 19-year-old then headed to post-match celebrations with the United squad.

  • THE GOSSIP

According to the Daily Mail, certain members of United’s staff were “angered” by Speed’s presence. INEOS chief Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who now owns a stake in the Premier League giants, has axed invites to club parties for all members of the backroom team – meaning that some were left on the outside looking in.

  • WHAT SLIPZ SAID

IShowSpeed’s camera operator Slipz has, however, taken to social media to refute claims that the presence of his friend alongside players and coaches caused uproar in the Old Trafford camp. He said, when referencing the Mail story: “Invited by players, embraced by everyone including the manager once there. Tasteless article.”

  • WHAT NEXT?

Speed - whose real name is Darren Jason Watkins Jr - was reportedly invited to the function by United winger Alejandro Garnacho, who was on target against City. He posted images of the Argentine forward on Instagram, while also rubbing shoulders with Marcus Rashford, Andre Onana, Rasmus Hojlund, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Erik ten Hag.
