'Tightarse!' - Man Utd star Mary Earps rinsed by England team-mate Chloe Kelly for not paying for data roaming on Lionesses duty

Sarina Wiegman’s side are in Spain taking in a couple of friendly dates during the break in domestic duty. They crushed Austria 7-2 on Friday, with Arsenal stars Alessia Russo and Beth Mead bagging a brace apiece in that contest.

Kelly and Earps were not involved in that game, with the opportunity taken to rest and rotate. The Manchester rivals, who ply their club trade at City and United respectively, will be hoping to figure prominently in upcoming fixtures.

For now, they are being freed to relax away from the pitch. That means posting regular updates on social media, but Kelly has pointed out that Earps will not be sharing anything outside of the team hotel as she is not paying roaming fees.

After being singled out, Earps responded in a social media post of her own by saying: “Listen,yeah, it’s not in my package and £5 a day for data is daylight robbery. I’m sorry, I just can’t do it. It hurts my soul. No shame in being a savings squirrel people!!”

England will be back in action on Tuesday when taking in a meeting with Italy. They are readying themselves for the defence of a European Championship crown, with qualification for the 2025 event due to get underway in April.
