PSG player ratings vs Lorient: Achraf Hakimi stupidity costs Ligue 1 leaders in shock loss

An early Achraf Hakimi red card and a miserable first-half defensive showing from Paris Saint-Germain led to yet another home loss for the Ligue 1 champions as they succumbed to mid-table Lorient, 3-1.

The Morroco international was booked twice inside the opening 20 minutes — and he could have little reason to complain about either.

Meanwhile, the rest of the PSG defence didn't inspire confidence, as Enzo Le Fee and Darlone Yongwa grabbed goals for the visitors, splitting a controversial Kylian Mbappe strike.

There was, predictably, a PSG surge in the second half as Christophe Galtier's side pushed numbers up the pitch, but a series of saves from Yvon Mvogo and a stout defensive showing was enough to keep the defending champions out before Bamba Dieng snatched a late third for the visitors.
