  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    Qatar Sports Investment (QSI) released an official statement confirming Luis Campos's contract extension by an additional five years, securing the Portuguese's services until 2030. This marks the end to Manchester United's plan to bring Campos to Old Trafford.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

    The sporting director has been given more freedom to oversee investments and sports strategy, including their minority stake in Portugal-based club Sporting Braga. He will also be responsible for identifying other multi-club football, sports and talent properties for QSI to invest in, as well as scouting, recruitment, and all matters related to sports talent across the Group.

    In QSI's official statement, Campos said: “I am delighted to continue my story with QSI to 2030.     WHAT NEXT FOR PSG?

    With Tottenham winning the Europa League all eyes are now set on PSG as they take on Inter in the Champions League final on 1 June 2025. Before that, PSG face Stade Reims in Coupe de France final on May 25.
