    WHAT HAPPENED?

Rodri ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his knee during Man City's 2-2 against Arsenal in September, and after undergoing surgery, it was confirmed that the Spaniard would not return to action until the end of the season. However, Rodri has expressed his desire to get back on the pitch ahead of schedule, and Guardiola might just call on him if City make it through to the latter stages of the Champions League.
