'I need a drink!' - Man Utd legend Roy Keane beside himself after Liverpool, Arsenal & Man City title race admission

With the top three having only eight games left to take in this season, the battle for domestic supremacy in England appears destined to go down to the wire. As things stand, there are just three points separating Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City.

The defending champions sit third at present, with the Gunners remaining second following a 0-0 draw at the Etihad Stadium, and Liverpool lead the way in what is Jurgen Klopp’s final campaign at the Anfield helm. There is all to play for, and it is is becoming increasingly difficult to call who will come out on top.

Keane, who savoured seven Premier League title triumphs during his time at United, has offered his take on who will claim the crown. The Irishman is finding it difficult to sing the praises of teams that were once his fiercest rivals, telling Sky Sports when asked for his opinion on a dramatic fight to the finish: “I’m going to go with Liverpool, I think. I need a drink! I’m not changing like the wind. I said Man City but from what I’ve seen recently, I’m going to go with Liverpool. Can I change next week?”

Liverpool still have top-four hopefuls Aston Villa, Tottenham and United to face this season. Arsenal have meetings with London rivals Chelsea and Spurs to come, while City are having to manage their workload as part of another treble bid – with Pep Guardiola’s side also in the hunt for Champions League and FA Cup glory.
