'Better, comfortable, confident' - Marcus Rashford looking 'fantastic' as Unai Emery as he outlines 'one huge challenge' Aston Villa face in bringing out the best of Man Utd outcast

Rashford was in fine form for Villa against Preston, netting twice, while Jacob Ramsey also found the net as the club confirmed safe passage into the last four. Rashford has said that he feels like he is rediscovering his love for the game after his torrid time at Manchester United.

Now, manager Emery has hailed the England star's abilities, and believes that he and his Villa players can help the 27-year-old get back to his best consistently.

Emery told reporters: "Fantastic. He is personally feeling better, comfortable, confident. Scoring goals of course is I think adding the confidence he needs, and of course helping us.

"I think the challenge we have – the club, the team, the squad and himself – is really one huge challenge to try to get together something, helping each one in our capacity to recover his best performances, and as well, adding us his qualities and his assists and his goals."

Villa play Brighton in midweek before taking on Nottingham Forest next weekend.
