THE BIGGER PICTURE
Al-Nassr have already initiated discussions with Casemiro's entourage and have assured the player that he would have a key role at the club, which would see him reunite with Cristiano Ronaldo. This has made the midfielder interested in the transfer as it offers him a fresh start away from the pressures of the Premier League.
DID YOU KNOW?
The potential transfer fee nearing €100 million represents a significant windfall for Manchester United. The financial influx from this deal would provide much-needed flexibility in the transfer market, enabling the club to pursue emerging talents and reinforce key areas. Given Casemiro's age and recent form, such a sum would be a remarkable return on investment as they look set to rebuild under the new ownership, to return to the upper echelons of European football.
