Man Utd team barbecue GOING AHEAD despite Ruben Amorim's side losing Europa League final to Tottenham Hotspur

The club had planned the meal in order to celebrate victory in the competition and had been expected to scrap it after losing. But it has been reported by The Mirror that the meet-up will still go ahead.

United had decided they would not put on a victory parade in the event of lifting the trophy after suffering their worst ever Premier League campaign. A barbecue for players and their families is still considered appropriate despite their dreadful season being exacerbated by losing to Spurs.

It is likely that United will stick with Amorim as their boss, allowing him a pre-season and to sign the players he needs for his 3-4-3 system. Matheus Cunha is likely to be the first arrival of the summer.

United play Aston Villa in their final match of the season on Sunday before their summer rebuild begins.
