‘Winning every game!’ - Lionel Messi & Sergio Busquets see ‘great choice’ of Inter Miami moves saluted by former Barcelona team-mate Pedro

The three former Barcelona team-mates have been reunited in Florida following a busy summer of recruitment business carried out by Manchester United and England legend David Beckham, who is now a co-owner at Inter Miami and has been assembling a star-studded squad.

Busquets and Alba have settled quickly in new surroundings, while seven-time Ballon d’Or winner Messi has scored 11 goals through as many appearances – helping Inter Miami to a historic Leagues Cup triumph, a place in the U.S. Open Cup final and a shot at reaching the MLS play-offs.

Pedro, who played alongside the iconic trio at Camp Nou, is delighted to see three close friends enjoying their football in the United States. He has told Televisione Spagnola: “They are very happy and are winning basically every game. They made a great choice.”

Messi and Alba played no part in Inter Miami’s last MLS outing, which they lost 5-2 to Atlanta United, and they have a seven-point gap to bridge through seven remaining fixtures in order to make the post-season.
