<p>After opening his account in the K-League 1 last week with a <span><a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/jesse-lingard-south-korea-ex-man-utd-star-fc-seoul/blt166f51c9aa799bd1#cs731d62861e14f513" target="_blank">penalty goal against Gangwon</a>, the former Manchester United winger scored his first goal from open play as he netted the winner with a clinical header from Kang Seong-jin's cross in the 66thminute against Daejeon Hana.</span></p>

WATCH THE CLIP

<p>After moving to the Far East during the January transfer window, Lingard had struggled to find his feet in new surroundings. On top of that, he <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/ex-man-utd-star-jesse-lingard-shares-injury-update-remarkable-recovery-knee-surgery/bltec18ff6b826e05bb" target="_blank">underwent knee surgery</a> in March which kept him sidelined until the third week of May. The ex-England international, however, is gradually gaining confidence.</p>

<p>The 31-year-old will be next seen in action on Saturday in the K-League 1 as FC Seoul face giants Ulsan HD FC.</p>
