According to French outlet Telefoot, Ekitike's early efforts have caught the eye of Didier Deschamps as he prepares to name his France squad for their World Cup qualifying double header against Ukraine and Iceland in September. The report claims Ekitike could take the place of Randal Kolo Muani in Deschamps' squad, with the future of the Paris Saint-Germain striker up in the air amid strong interest from Juventus.
