Spurs have reached the Europa League semi-finals after beating Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1 on aggregate in the quarter-finals, and they will face Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt in the last-four. However, their Premier League season has been nothing short of a disaster, as they sit 16th ahead of Monday's clash with Nottingham Forest.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Solanke, though, has pointed to their repeated injury problems as an explanation for Spurs' dire domestic form, and believes that a fully-fit squad is capable of "beating anyone". The former Bournemouth striker scored the decisive penalty against Frankfurt, and is now targeting glory in Bilbao.

  • WHAT SOLANKE SAID

Quoted by the Evening Standard, Solanke said: "100 per cent. When we've got everyone fit, we believe we can beat anyone. Not many games left so another step closer, so hopefully we can go on to do it.

"This cup was something we had our eyes on from the start of the season. We're not far off it now so hopefully we can keep producing these performances in the cup and league throughout the rest of the season and kick on.

"We all know we need to be more consistent from game to game. When you have a game like this, you need to go out there and show no fear and get the job done. There's no second chances in knockout football so we knew we had to go and get the job done and that's what we did."

    WHAT NEXT?

Spurs play Forest on Monday, then Liverpool on Sunday. If they lose to the Reds, Arne Slot's side will be champions. The following Thursday, they meet Bodo.
