    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Palmer scored four goals as Chelsea beat Brighton 4-2 on Saturday, with every goal coming in the first half. The England star made history in the process, becoming the first player in Premier League history to score four times in one half.

Guendouzi joined Lazio permanently in the summer, after initially moving to the club on loan from Marseille in 2023. He left Arsenal in 2022 after two loan spells, first at Hertha Berlin, then at Marseille.

Guendouzi will next be in action when Lazio play Nice in the Europa League on Thursday. Palmer, by comparison, will play Gent in the Europa Conference League on the same night. It remains to be seen if we'll see a cold celebration from either man.
