(C)Getty ImagesTHE BIGGER PICTURE
After a fairly miserable time in Manchester, Antony is thriving in Seville with Betis in La Liga. The Brazilian has scored four goals and bagged two assists in 11 outings for his new club and is proving to be a big hit after joining on loan in January until the end of the current campaign. Real Betis CEO Ramon Alarcon has already revealed that Antony has told him he wants to stay for another year.
Getty ImagesWHAT NEXT FOR ANTONY
Antony will hope to continue his impressive form with Betis for the rest of the campaign. Pellegrini's men currently sit in sixth place in the table in Spain but if they can secure Champions League football for next season, it could provide the funds required to keep Antony at the club.
