  • WHAT HAPPENED?

The Sun claim the 34-year-old snubbed the chance to move to the Saudi Pro League as the 93-time England international feared a transfer to the Middle East would end his chances of reaching 100 caps for his country. The report adds his wife Kilner, who planned on divorcing the defender in 2024 after his cheating scandals, is intent on joining him abroad in a bid to save their marriage, but Walker's decision is a footballing one - not a relationship one.

The England international, whose contract runs until 2026, has enjoyed a glittering career and not many would begrudge him getting the move of his dreams.
