    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Weah has already made 35 appearances for the United States men's national team and could've linked up with international team-mates Pulisic and Musah if he had chosen to join Milan. Juventus do, however, sit at the top of the Serie A table after 21 matches, with a seven point gap separating the two teams.

Weah and his Juventus team-mates will now look to extend their lead at the top of the table, as they prepare to host Empoli on Saturday evening. The Old Lady are undefeated in their last 18 games across all competitions.
