KPL January transfers: A total 210 players switch clubs

Kenyan Premier League transfer window shut down at midnight of January 31, 2018, with a total of 210 players linking up with new sides.

Nakumatt FC and Kakamega Homeboyz were the busiest sides during the window, while Ulinzi Stars and Zoo Kericho, recorded the least activity.

Zoo has contracted only four new players, the least by any KPL team, and released five. Ulinzi Stars, on the other hand, has released only two players, Samuel Onyango and Stephen Waruru, while acquiring the services of seven.

Meanwhile, Nakumatt made up for the 18 players they lost by bringing on board 17 new players, while their counterparts Homeboyz signed 18 players and released 14.

Seventeen players have made moves abroad from Kenyan clubs. Of the seventeen, three are of Kenyan nationality. Masud Juma has made a move to Capetown City (South Africa) from Kariobangi Sharks while Gor Mahia duo of Kenneth Muguna and Musa Mohammed have joined KF Tirana in Albania.
