The top-flight newcomers played a 1-1 draw with Warri Wolves a few days ago and the team’s coach, Ngozi Elechi has confirmed that they have secured another test game with the Anambra Warriors billed for the Kris Dera Hotel Stadium.
He said he agreed to face FC IfeanyiUbah because he will like to see how much is players have improved from their friendly tie with the Seasiders and that he feels that the Nnewi side will be worthy opponents to stretch his boys.
“We are going to face FC IfeanyiUbah on Saturday in Omoku and it is a game we have accepted because we see it as another chance to correct the lapses we noticed in our draw with Warri Wolves,” Elechi told Goal.
“We have played the two league matches with them and there was no much difference in those games. We see this chance to play them again as precious and one to correct the errors we noticed against Warri Wolves.
“I told my players that they must convert their chances better and play as a unit. I expect a good game against FC IfeanyiUbah and I will be on the sideline to see how much improvement my players have made.”
