Enyimba's Udoh eyes another 'brilliant' outing vs. Shooting Stars

Enyimba’s skipper, Mfon Udoh is eyeing a repeat of their midweek's heroics when they face Shooting Stars on Sunday in another important league clash.

The Aba giants staged a comeback against Lobi Stars on Wednesday to collect maximum points. And are looking for another 'brilliant performance' when they trade tackles with the Oluyole Warriors who have remained unbeaten in their last four matches.

“The result against Lobi Stars has been confined to the history books now but we can’t forget about the brilliant performance of everyone on the pitch and those supporting us from the bench and on the stands. It was a day we unitedly said we won’t lose the game and God heard our prayers. The performance against Lobi has now become a yardstick for us to measure what we must do and achieve in our remaining matches,” Udoh told Goal.

“Shooting Stars are a tough side considering their results recently. We must urge ourselves on to the pitch on Sunday and never believe the game has been won or lost until the match officials end the game. If we are determined just like we did in the face of defeat against Lobi, we can achieve a good result in Ibadan in similar way too.”
