League Management Company has rescheduled some league matches because of Nigeria’s teams’ participation in the Caf Inter Club competitions this month.
In a statement from the LMC and signed by its Chief Operating Officer, Salihu Abubakar, Enyimba and Plateau United will now slug it out on Wednesday February 14 as against the initial February 11 as the reigning league champions will face Eding Sports of Cameroon in Jos on Sunday in the Caf Champions League.
The fixture involving MFM and Akwa United will now come up on February 28 as both teams are representing Nigeria in the Caf Champions League and Caf Confederation Cup respectively this weekend and are games against Gambia and Mali oppositions among other fixture adjustments made.
The statement from the LMC read: “Consequent upon the engagement of our clubs in the Caf Inter Club competitions, the following matches are hereby rescheduled to hold on the new dates below:
