Real Madrid are riding a wave of confidence built around the emergence of teenage sensation Yan Diomande. The Ivory Coast international was the standout performer in a commanding 4-1 victory over Sevilla at the Bernabéu, contributing a goal and an assist in a display that broke a Jude Bellingham record for a Real Madrid youngster. Jose Mourinho offered a candid assessment of the winger's development, comparing his trajectory to Vinicius Junior while acknowledging the weight of expectation that comes with a reported €125 million price tag.

The win kept Real Madrid third in LaLiga on 21 points from nine games, one behind Atletico Madrid, and extended a run that has seen Mourinho's side score 11 goals across their last four victories. The manager has reinforced that no player is safe from rotation, warning publicly that no one is untouchable ahead of a packed schedule that demands depth and focus.

Attention now turns to Wednesday's Champions League fixture against RB Leipzig at the Bernabéu. Ibrahima Konate and Diomande both face their former club, adding personal storylines to a match that carries real European weight. Leipzig arrive having been thrashed 6-1 by Bayern Munich last weekend, though RB Leipzig boss Martin Demichelis remains confident his side can test Madrid. With El Clasico against Barcelona at Camp Nou following on October 25, this week represents the most demanding stretch of Real Madrid's season so far.
