  • Jenas sacked by the BBC
  • New allegations from make-up artist
  • 'Bombarded' her with messages
  • WHAT HAPPENED?

Per the Daily Mail, a junior make-up assistant at BT Sport has alleged that Jenas sent her multiple explicit text messages. The allegations predate his time on The One Show, but he was sacked by the BBC in August nevertheless, losing his role on Match of the Day. The latest woman sharing allegations began work with BT Sport in 2017 and says she was quickly on the receiving end of Jenas' attentions.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Jenas is said to have refused to take no for an answer, despite the make-up artist making it clear that she was in a relationship and was not interested in any kind of sexual activity. The former Tottenham and England midfielder is alleged to have sent her at least one unsolicited video showing his penis, while also trying to convince her that him performing a sex act on her would not be classed as cheating. She is not the first woman to come forward.

  • WHAT THE VICTIM SAID

The victim alleges that Jenas initially followed her on Instagram before lewd direct messages began being sent. His first message is said to have asked for a kiss "to fill some time".

She added: "Soon after that message and the video I had to go in to do a touch up for him to go on-air. He whispered to me 'did you see my messages' and I just said 'yes', as in 'I'd seen them, not interested,' and just carried on working. That was it that day. Then the next day it must have been his birthday, and he texted me 'can I have a birthday kiss tonight please, our secret'.

"Then he sent me another one. After that I said 'Look, I'm in a relationship…I'm not interested."

She eventually informed her boyfriend, who advised her to tell her boss, which she did; her line manager did not alert BT Sport's management to Jenas' behaviour.
