Vardy's early second-half goal inspired a comeback win for Leicester City as they beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 in the Premier League on Sunday. After scoring the equaliser just seconds after the break, the veteran forward rushed towards the home fans, gestured number one and pointed towards the Premier League logo on his shoulder and then gestured zero and pointed towards the Spurs supporters. It was a dig at the Lilywhites whom the Foxes beat in the title race to win the league in the 2015-16 campaign.

On Leicester's Instagram post of Vardy's celebration, their former star Riyad Mahrez left a comment for the English forward, as he wrote: "Never change".
