Dani Olmo sends emotional message after confirming RB Leipzig departure ahead of imminent Barcelona transfer

Olmo was spotted arriving at the Camp Nou on Friday as he prepares to officially become a Barcelona player. He then posted his goodbye message on social media ahead of his unveiling. The Spaniard is expected to sign a six-year deal with the Liga giants.

After impressing for RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga last season, OImo's reputation only grew as he led Spain to Euro 2024 glory this summer. The versatile 26-year-old will be well-suited to Hansi Flick's system as Barca look to close the gap on Real Madrid in 2024-25.

Olmo must still pass his medical before facing the media for the first time with his new club. Flick's men will kick off their La Liga campaign against Valencia next Saturday and fans will then flock to the Camp Nou to watch their new signing in action at home.
