Carioca Championship final Overview

Crystal Palace have appealed against the straight red card Jean-Philippe Mateta received in Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Tottenham. Manchester United are reportedly considering a sensational mid-season move for Manchester City left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri as they look to address a glaring lack of depth in their defensive ranks. The Algerian international has found regular minutes hard to come by under both Pep Guardiola and Enzo Maresca at the Etihad Stadium, potentially paving the way for a rare direct transfer between the two local rivals.

In an exclusive interview with GOAL, Dominic Calvert-Lewin opens up on his Leeds revival, the injuries that tested him and how fatherhood changed his outlook on life.

Arsenal have received a massive boost ahead of the festive period with the news that William Saliba has officially returned to first-team training. The French international, who has been sidelined since the World Cup, is now back in the fold as the Gunners look to maintain their position at the summit of the Premier League table.
