Andre Onana's horrible history! Man Utd goalkeeper goes into record books for all the wrong reasons after losing Europa League final to Tottenham

With United's 1-0 Europa League final defeat to Tottenham in Bilbao on Wednesday, Onana became the first player to reach three European finals with three different teams - but failed to win a single one of them.

Onana lost the Europa League final against United while playing for Ajax in 2017, was runner-up in the 2023 Champions League final in Inter Milan's loss to Manchester City, and now he has tasted defeat with the Red Devils against Spurs. This caps off a poor season for United and Onana.

Cameroon international Onana has still tasted success in his career, winning three Eredivisie titles with Ajax, an FA Cup with United, and a Coppa Italia with Inter, among others. But a European title eludes him.

Onana will hope United can end this wretched season on a slight positive when they take on Champions League-chasing Aston Villa at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday.
