Second Professional League Overview

Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca was left fuming after his side suffered a damaging 3-1 defeat at the hands of Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon. The Italian tactician pulled no punches in his post-match assessment, highlighting a complete lack of physical presence from his star-studded squad.

Arsenal have equalled their greatest-ever start to a Premier League campaign following a gritty 1-0 victory over Hull City on Saturday. The result ensures Mikel Arteta's side remain the team to beat as they continue their pursuit of consecutive domestic crowns.

Liam Delap scored twice against the club where he came through the academy as Manchester City slipped to a third straight Premier League defeat, beaten 3-1 by a Nottingham Forest side that had not scored at home all season.

Tottenham will lodge a formal complaint after Jayden Bogle escaped a red card for his reckless challenge on Mathys Tel in the 1-0 defeat at Leeds. Tel was forced off before half-time, and Spurs believe the decision clashes with Jean-Philippe Mateta's dismissal against them a week earlier, while Roberto De Zerbi insisted he still has full confidence in the officials.
