Stuttgarter Kickers Overview

Juventus released a stern statement condemning sections of their support who disrupted a minute of silence honouring Italian football icon Sandro Mazzola ahead of Sunday's 2-0 win over Atalanta. The pre-match tribute was marred when fans in the Curva Sud turned away and chanted, prompting swift rebukes from both the club and opposing manager Maurizio Sarri.

Maurizio Sarri has launched a sensational attack on the use of VAR in Serie A, suggesting the technology should be scrapped entirely following a controversial afternoon in Turin. The Atalanta boss was left fuming after his side were denied a penalty during their 2-0 defeat to Juventus, marking a third consecutive loss for the Bergamo outfit.

Juventus produced a tactical masterclass to defeat Atalanta 2-0 at the Allianz Stadium. Goals from Francisco Conceicao and Gleison Bremer ensured the three points stayed in Turin.

Maurizio Sarri has opened up on his difficult memories of managing Juventus as he prepares to face his former club with Atalanta. The veteran coach also revealed that Chelsea provided the only positive start of his career as he asks for patience to implement his new tactical system.
