AlTayaran Overview

Cristiano Ronaldo looks set to return to international duty after Portugal submitted a formal request to Al-Nassr for his release ahead of the UEFA Nations League. The move signals a major turning point for the veteran forward following a recent 30-day suspension and a high-profile disagreement over playing time.

RedBird Capital Partners chief Gerry Cardinale has confirmed that his investment firm is exploring a potential takeover of Saudi Pro League giants Al Nassr. The American businessman, who already counts AC Milan - home to USMNT star Christian Pulisic - and Toulouse in his portfolio, has been linked with a move to acquire the club currently spearheaded by Cristiano Ronaldo.

Former Saudi Arabia and Al-Hilal goalkeeper Mohamed Al-Deayea has dismissed Cristiano Ronaldo's latest treble for Al-Nassr by claiming the veteran striker relies heavily on his team-mates for tap-ins. Instead, the retired shot-stopper believes fellow Portugal international Joao Felix was the true catalyst behind Thursday's 5-3 league win over Al-Kholood.

Cristiano Ronaldo rolled back the years with a clinical second-half hat-trick to lead Al Nassr to a chaotic 5-3 victory over Al Kholood. Despite a shaky defensive display, the individual quality of Al Nassr's forward line eventually overwhelmed the opposition.
