U.S. Soccer has announced that the U.S. men's national team will face Peru in a friendly on Oct. 16 in East Hartford, Conn.
The match is the final game to be confirmed in the team's fall "Kickoff Series," a set of six friendlies that will begin the team's journey towards World Cup 2022.
The most recent game between the U.S. and Peru also ended in a 2-1 win for the Stars and Stripes, with Jozy Altidore scoring a brace in a 2015 friendly.
Kickoff for the match in East Hartford will be at 8 p.m. ET, with ESPN2, UniMas and UDN broadcasting the game.
The U.S. will begin the Kickoff Series on Friday night at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey against Brazil.
Following the match against the Selecao, the USMNT will head to Nashville four days later to take on El Tri in a renewal of Concacaf's biggest rivalry.
