We'll be benched for Mbappe, Griezmann warns Payet

The Atletico Madrid star has been left fearing for his place in the France squad due to the emergence of the exciting young teenager this season

Kylian Mbappe has been terrorising defences all season long but it seems his superb form has now given his France international team-mates something to fear.

The Monaco striker has been called up by Les Bleus for the first time with coach Didier Deschamps revealing he is set to make his debut against either Luxembourg or Spain.

Ahead of those games Mbappe has been training hard with a France squad that is not short of goalscoring talent with the likes of Antoine Griezmann, Dimitri Payet and Olivier Giroud all in the squad.

However, such has been the 18-year-old's form, with 19 goals already this season, Griezmann in particular has been left fearing for both his and Payet's place in the team.

The Atletico Madrid forward took to Instagram with a picture of the trio and the message: "Yeah Dimi! It's him who's going to put us on the bench!"
