JJ Watt posts on social media about Burnley loss
Complains over non-call with handball
Villa wins 3-2 via late penalty
WHAT HAPPENED?
In their 3-2 loss to title-contenders Aston Villa on Saturday, Watt expressed distaste on social media over a non-handball call that went against his team. Villa defender Diego Carlos appeared to flick the ball on with his hand with the scores at 2-1, but nothing was given by the referee. The Clarets then conceded an 89th minute penalty after being reduced to 10-men midway through the second half, to round out an agonizing loss.

WHAT WATT SAID
On social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, Watt posted a video showing what appears to be a handball against Villa that went unnoticed, asking viewers if he is "losing it or not."
The Clarets return to action against Tottenham next Friday as they look to begin the new year on a high note. At the end of 2023, they sit 19th, five points beneath safety from relegation.
