Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has issued a touching message to Jurgen Klopp after the end of the German manager's reign at the Anfield club.

WHAT HAPPENED?
Salah joined Liverpool almost two years into Klopp's reign as Reds boss and played a key role in their Champions League success in 2019 and their Premier League title win the following year, as well as several other trophy victories.
"It was great sharing all those trophies and experiences with you over the past seven years," Salah wrote on social media.
"I wish you the best of luck for the future and hope we meet again."

WHAT NEXT FOR KLOPP AND SALAH?
The next phase of Klopp's career remains unknown, but the ex-Borussia Dortmund coach is expected to take a sabbatical from the game after almost nine years in charge of the Premier League team. Salah, meanwhile, is contracted to Liverpool until 2025, but he has been linked with a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia.
