'New trend unlocked' - Alisha Lehmann laughs as she shows off the Italian she has learned alongside Juventus team-mate Cristiana Girelli

The Swiss international swapped Aston Villa for Juventus this summer, following boyfriend Douglas Luiz to the Italian side. Amid a bright pre-season campaign, the 25-year-old is settling in nicely and is seemingly picking up Italian fairly quickly, too.

In Girelli's Instagram story, she posted a clip of a laughing Lehmann speaking Italian and captioned it: "New trend unlocked."

Lehmann - who previously said she speaks Swiss German, German, French, English and was learning Portuguese because of Brazil star Luiz - struggled towards the end of her spell with Villa, managing just four goals in all competitions. But she and Juve will hope she can find more success with the Italian outfit this season.

Lehmann's Juventus side take on either Racing Louisville or Palmeiras in the final of The Women's Cup at Lynn Family Stadium, Louisville, on August 13. Seven days later, they take on German giants Bayern Munich.
