When it comes to transfers, every club and team in the world has hits and misses, and it's no different with Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT). For every Luciano Figueroa, there's a Jeronimo Barrales. The 30-year-old Argentine did not even last a handful of games with JDT before being shipped down to Johor Darul Ta'zim II (JDTII).

He still got managed to score a decent 11 goals with JDTII in the Premier League, if anything that showed what his real level is. Which is surprising considering he came to Malaysia, having played for clubs in Argentina's Superliga as well as the Turkish league.

The red card that he got against Bangkok United in the AFC Champions League qualifier almost cost JDT the chance to progress to the next stage of the competition. The fact that Barrales got the red in extra time barely nine minutes after he got was subbed into the match in the 103rd minute.

After only featuring in three matches for JDT, the Benjamin Mora and the rest of the management decided that they have seen enough and Barrales was unceremoniously moved to JDTII with Gabriel Guerra moving in the other direction.

With each passing game that Guerra shines for JDT, it made Barrales looked even worse, without having to appear for the team. Barrales' reputation may have been slightly restored with his performances for JDTII but there's no doubt, that he tops the MSL2017 Worst Flops list.
