Thailand goalkeeper Kawin lands Belgium move

Thailand international goalkeeper Kawin Thamsatchanan has sealed a move to second tier Belgian side Oud-Heverlee Leuven.

The permanent move will reportedly see the Muang Thong player staying at the Thai conglomerate King Power-owned club for five seasons.

"I've been thinking that Thai players and English football is something very far away. But when King Power owns Leicester City, there's a glimmer of hope.

"I never expected this. I'm very glad. My big chance to explore the wide world. My great opportunity to make my dreams come true.

"It's not just in the name of Kawin, but in the name of Thai people. I have to prove what we all can make it."
