Timo Werner - Germany
This season was far from Werner's most fruitful campaign as the RB Leipzig forward managed just 13 goals in 32 Bundesliga appearances, some way behind the 21 he netted last time around.
However, manager Joachim Low has kept faith in the young striker after he led them to glory in the Confederations Cup last summer with three goals and two assists.
Werner also scored seven times in his 11 European games with Leipzig, including impressive braces against Monaco and Napoli, respectively.
World Cup Top Goalscorer Odds - 14/1 (15.0)
Werner is likely to lead the line for his country and is aiming to become the third German Golden Boot winner in the last four tournaments, following in the footsteps of Miroslav Klose and Thomas Muller.
The 22-year-old netted three times in World Cup qualification, making him the nation's second-top scorer behind Muller and Sandro Wagner, who both netted five.
Germany hold the record for most goals scored in World Cups with 224 and will look to Werner to find the net plenty of times in Russia, especially considering their group consists of Mexico, South Korea and Sweden.
